  • Poetry Zine

a zine is a small self-published form of merch often in the form of a pamphlet or booklet.

"Impossibility Reduced to Bricks" is a companion piece, as many of the titles in the piece came in the form of poetry I wrote throughout the pandemic. If you purchase this "zine," With this purchase, you'll receive the album alongside a pdf of the poetry by email. I'll then make sure to mail you a personally signed copy of a little printout. It's not much, but I hope you enjoy it :)

about

"Impossibility Reduced to Bricks" is an original suite of music and a collection of poetry by Gabriel Lowman.

This piece reflects my musings throughout the year 2020, which is to warn you that it may not be the most pleasant. I hope that in sharing my music and words with you, you may feel a sense of peace. I do not consider this work as entirely "sad"; I cling to the moments of beauty and hope that surface within its chaos.

The poetry is available to purchase under the "merch" section of this page.

The album was recorded in April of 2021 with Jon Armstrong on bass and Joseph Emmanuel on drum set. The session was recorded in Idaho State University's Goranson Hall and the session was engineered by ISU students Jack de Tombe and Adam Redd.

CDs are currently being printed according to demand. Limited while in stock!

Enjoy :)
